Handcrafting naturally shaped OOAK shoes for adventurous little feet since 2003
I wanted to create a soft sole pre walker that was a little bit different to what's currently available in the kid's shoe world.
All the benefits of being designed around the natural 'barefoot' shape of the foot, supportive and healthy and just that little bit different.
I use all natural leathers and 100% pure wool felt.
My first walkers have the same benefits with the added security of a soft, flexible non slip
sole that still allows little feet to 'feel' the ground underneath encouraging confidence in those first steps.
Mostly 'one offs' my shoes are made one pair at a time, no production lines, limited edition and you wont find them anywhere else.

Buddy x shoes are made by me, one pair at a time with love and attention to detail. I focus on the natural foot shape and a generous toe box with room to wriggle little toes.
I started making toddler shoes back in 2003 with an obsession for shoes from a young age. It continues today with a fondness of early 20th century styles thats reflected in their design.
Most of my shoes are OOAK but I have 3 favourite styles that will take you through the seasons.
Sandals for summer, boots for winter and mules which are a great mid season shoe. Buddy x shoes are the perfect mix of cuteness and functionality, handcrafted and designed to express individuality, nurture and support growing feet.
